"If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try"
My passion for media and storytelling began as an interest in music, particularly exploring how different sounds could evoke different moods and emotions. While developing my skills as a recording technician and saxophone player, I began working in Chicago as a freelance audio engineer. During this time I took on several recording and live sound projects, including recording small chamber music ensembles, percussion ensembles, jazz combos, big bands, and high school groups. After spending three years in Miami as an audio engineer at The New World Symphony, I've had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of productions, including music concerts(of varying genres), award ceremonies, panel discussions, television shows, and film screenings.
After relocating to Boston, I quickly developed a fascination with exploring photography and video production of varying genres, including street photography, nature landscapes, portraits, and events/concert videography. I was surprised to find inspiration while exploring a new city with my camera. Once I began sharing my inspiration with others, it became obvious that the new obsession was not only a new hobby, but a way to continue expand my artistic endeavors. After filming a few concerts with different organizations in Boston, I was invited to join the production team responsible for producing content for a series of live concerts at Spotify's Boston offices in Somerville. As I continue to refine and and improve my techniques, I've found it incredibly rewarding learning from other creatives from different backgrounds.
My aim is to work with individuals and organizations to find inspiring ways to to cultivate art that has the potential to profoundly impact people from all walks of life.
